Team Murdoch competes in Victoria

What's the best preparation for playing in the Ford Men's World Curling Championship in Moncton, April 4-12? Taking part in an event, against some of the best teams in the world, would be a good suggestion. And indeed, that's what David Murdoch, Ewan MacDonald, Peter Smith and Euan Byers will be doing. Team Scotland are already in Victoria, British Columbia, to take part in the Bear Mountain Arena Classic which begins on Thursday.

This is a twenty team invitation event, with four sections, two qualifying from each to playoffs. The lineup is here. Team Murdoch (listed as GB) is in the same section as Brad Gushue, and their first game is against Fengchun Wang of China.
