Wamphray in White

Wamphray has had a bit of a dusting of snow this week. It makes the garden look so different!

I wasn't the first to head out the other morning! On foot. Snow is great, especially when you don't have to drive in it.

Beside the Annan.

 The Jocksthorn Bridge.

Even a little blue sky to lighten the mood!

Back to the garden. Just wait!

Snowdrops in the snow!

  1. Lovely stuff Bob - it brings back nightmarish memories of trying to push a Vauxhall Viva (rear wheel drive) uphill, up our very snowy and very steep drive to the A74 in the late 70's. Me and my Mum used old tattie sacks and gritty determination - it was hell actually!
In the end Dad relented in bad weather and parked in one of Willie Fraser's lambing sheds, which made a (slight) difference.
Seeing it again brings it all back - I wish I was there now for a long ramble along 'my' riverbank!
    All the best
